Sounds like it was a perfect time to go. The weather here has been nothing short of beautiful with finally cloud and some light rain today, but exceptionally warm here for Feb.

I was outside in my T shirt again yesterday (but then you know ME, it’s all about not feeling the cold, unless of course, it’s the top of my head, then I DO!).

I had a nice chat with your Newfie AirBnB people and have it all set up as to what time we are meeting etc. so it’s all under control.

Have a great time, we miss you all, but glad you are over there doing what you are doing.

oh my… I could feel motherly anxiety rising in my belly as I read this. It’s so hard to see your baby be passed around to people you don’t know. I can’t imagine how much harder it would be when your not exactly sure what they’re going to do with her!!!

And to echo the lady above me: “on her eyeballs????” I too am confused by this!!

wow lots of experiences…..on her eye ball???? or just around her eyes?? Yea I can feel that feeling of wanting to “rescue” your baby…it is hard when you just aren’t sure what they are doing. What did that they do with the cow shit??? Eat it? – I was laughing reading about the tumeric…that is so the magical spice for this Indina culture – but as I read about it…I guess it is the magical spice with many benefits to our bodies.

Thank you for sharing. Oh yea and I loved to talking to you too.

We’re in India right now and so many of the babies here just pee everywhere! I guess with concrete floors in not such a big deal. Diaper-free definitely feels like an experiment, but I find now that I hate having her in diapers. I feel bad for her poor little bum when it is sitting in a wet cloth diaper! I figure once she starts crawling we’ll just find a system that works for us, which very well may include more and more cloth.

Dr. Sear’s books are great! The Vaccine Book was the first book about vaccines that I read which I found immensely helpful. I was pretty disturbed by the lack of information and inaccurate information that the public health nurse had about the vaccines she was administering! Made me just that much more leery.
