In the Eyes of Davis, We’re Offically Hitched!

It’s been a long standing tradition for families to showcase the marriage of their children in the local newspaper. I’m not entirely keen on the whole idea and think its a little redundant, but my mom wanted to show off the marriage of her first born. And while it took nearly a year for her to actually submit our photograph and story to our local newspaper, The Davis Enterprise, our wedding announcement made its appearance last week. The day the announcement ran, my mom received phone calls from my high school track coach and old friends biding their congratulations and wishing us well. So now I guess now there’s no one from my hometown who doesn’t know the news. And I thought Facebook was good for that.
